I am Gaelen Schnare, a young birder and photographer from Nelson, BC.  My passion for birds started around age seven, when I was fortunate to receive an entry-level camera and lens for Christmas. This sparked a lasting love for observing and photographing birds where and whenever I could. Since then, I have birded extensively in North America as well as visited Ecuador and Ireland.
