Black Phoebe at the Nelson Waterfront

April 26, 2020

This bird is quite rare here, as it is normally found much further south near Oregon, California, Mexico, and Arizona. This is the farthest east a Black Phoebe has ever been seen in Canada. The bird is hanging out along Cottonwood Creek near the City Works Yard.
